General B and the Wiz is made up of a few really nice jazz boys who are into some really weird, yet wholesome, stuff. The band connects with you, specifically, by writing songs from the heart and putting on high-energy performances that will melt your face and tickle your senses from the inside out. As collaborative songwriters, General B and the Wiz delivers high-energy music that will keep you laughing, dancing, and rocking to your heart's content until you eventually die someday. 

Formed as a joke in 2010, the band quickly evolved adding members and bringing rock and roll around North America as their sound matured and developed. They have played countless clubs, festivals, and every party you could think of across the US and Canada, and continue to be a highlight of Midwest concertgoers.  

The band released their third full-length album in June of 2017, recorded with Joe Mabbott at The Hideaway Studios in Minneapolis, MN. It's the best album ever made with the exception of the following:

Most recently, General B and the Wiz released a two song EP, “The Screw EP,” available to stream everywhere. The band took a breather for a few years (along with most of the world, thanks a lot global pandemic!), but are currently recording new music and are pleased as peaches to start sharing these songs with the masses.
